Ben Roethlisberger announced this will be his final season, so it’s possible the team rallies around him in a similar way the Ravens rallied around Ray Lewis. Hopefully the offensive line rallies extra hard, because they stink. In order for Roethlisberger to look competent, he needs protection up front.
For the Vikings, this is another game without Everson Griffen on their defensive front, which has really hurt their pass defense. In fact, Minnesota has allowed 286.3 passing yards on average over the past three weeks, which is second-worst in the NFL. On offense, the Vikings will be without Adam Thielen while Dalvin Cook is listed as questionable with his shoulder injury. If he does return, one wonders how many hits he can take from this aggressive Steelers defense.
