Purdue vs Texas Prediction | March Madness Picks and Bracketology

Purdue didn’t play their best game, but their size and athleticism allowed them to dominate the nerds from Yale in the First Round. It’s that size that makes them so dangerous in the NCAA Tournament. If they can get some offensive efficiency to complement the size of Zach Edey and quickness and overall solid play from Jaden Ivey, the Boilermakers could go on a deep run.

Despite being the higher seed, many expected Texas to fall to Virginia Tech. However, they took down the ACC Tournament champs, 81-73. Simply, they were steady and they didn’t kill themselves with stupid mistakes, which is all it took. However, they will have to be better to make it to the second weekend, since they’re already outmatched in size. While the Longhorns sport a solid defense, their offensive efficiency could be their downfall.

While I do believe Purdue will move on, we will instead bet the point total. Again, Texas has a solid defense but struggles on offense. Purdue is inconsistent on offense as well. With both teams’ games hitting the under consistently, we will bet the trends continue.

Our college basketball betting Purdue vs Texas prediction tonight will be the point total going UNDER at BetUS

For what it’s worth, the ESPN Matchup Predictor gives Purdue a 64.4% chance to win.
