Just how shocking was it that the Peacocks managed to upset both Kentucky and Murray State last week? Well, consider that St. Peter’s couldn’t even afford to fly their cheerleaders out to Indianapolis for last weekend’s games. Peacock TV actually picked up the tab for the university!
Nonetheless, the Peacocks are among the final 16 teams left standing in the NCAA Tournament. This marks the second straight year that a 15-seed has advanced to the regional semifinals.
