There’s a reason Zach Edey was named National Player of the Year for the second straight year. He destroys any and all teams in his path and there isn’t a great way to stop him. Purdue has throttled everyone they’ve gone up against except for a very good Tennessee team in the Elite Eight. Although they only won by six, it always felt like they had the game under control.
NC State has continued their incredible run with a huge second half over Duke in the Elite Eight. Although this team has only played one team seeded three or higher, they have taken care of the business that was put in front of them. Center DJ Burns is an absolute force in the paint and his basketball IQ and passing ability are incredible for a player of his size and age.
Although NC State has had a great run, they have used a ton of luck on this run. While there is certainly a chance their luck continues, Purdue is a wagon.
