Denver Nuggets vs Phoenix Suns Betting Preview and Prediction | NBA Playoffs

NBA Western Conference Semifinals NBA Playoffs Game 2 (PHO leads 1-0)
Denver Nuggets (51-27, 24-15 Away) vs. Phoenix Suns (55-23, 29-10 Home)
Date: Wednesday, June 9, 2021
Start Time: 9:30 p.m. EST
Venue: Phoenix Suns Arena — Phoenix, AZ

The Nuggets were able to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers, despite missing Jamal Murray. However, Phoenix is a much more balanced team than Portland, and the Nuggets were unable to hang on in the second half. In the third quarter, the Suns outscored the Nuggets 31-21 and did not look back. Early in the fourth quarter, Chris Paul went to work and scored 10 points in the first three minutes.

The Suns were led by Mikal Bridges in scoring. Bridges scored 23 points on 8-12 shooting from the field and 4-8 from three-point range. The Nuggets were led by MVP Nikola Jokić, who scored 22 points on 10-23 shooting from the field. Denver will need to see Jokić score more efficiently, if they do not want to suffer the same fate as Game 1.
