If you are unaware of what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 11 NFL Survivor Pool picks wisely.
If you are new to reading my survivor articles, what I do is outline my “lock of the week,” my “value of the week” and my “high-risk, high-reward pick of the week.”
The lock of the week details what team I think has the best chance of winning their matchup. This would most likely be a good team that plays a bad team. The lock is also the official pick for NFL Survivor Pools, meaning we will not reuse a “lock.” My value pick of the week details a mid-tier team that has a good matchup. And finally, my high-risk, high-reward pick details a bad team that has a good matchup. It may be worth it to look at the NFL betting odds for these games and place some bets as well.

Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Detroit Lions enter the week as 13.5-point (!) favorites against the Jacksonville Jaguars. After coming off of a week where they rallied from behind and beat the Houston Texans behind Jared Goff’s five interceptions, I am expecting the Lions to have a little bit of an easier time in this one.
The Lions have an opportunity to ride their run game to a win in this one. The Jaguars have given up 1,294 yards on the ground in this, which ranks 24th in the NFL this season. On top of that, the Jaguars have also given up 11 rushing touchdowns this season. If the Lions can run the ball, that will perfectly set up the passing game. When both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs inevitably get going, the safeties and linebackers have to cheat up to help stop the run. That is when the play action should get going, leading to Amon-Ra St. Brown and company to also feast.
The Jaguars will also be without Trevor Lawrence in this one, which means that Mac Jones should see time again this week. There is nothing that really scares you with Jones, so I think even though they won last week, this is a real bounce-back opportunity for the Lions.

Miami Dolphins vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Miami Dolphins were able to get their season back on track last week on Monday Night Football, as they took down the Los Angeles Rams. In that game, we saw Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who have dealt with injuries throughout the season, get involved early and often. With Tua Tagovailoa, Miami got out to a hot start in the passing game, as Waddle was finding himself wide open early. We did not see the run game really break out in that game, but I think that can be a different story in this one.
The Raiders have given up 1,169 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground this season. While those yards rank about the middle of the pack, the touchdowns given up prove that there is an opportunity for De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert to work to the end zone. The Raiders are coming off of a bye, where Gardner Minshew is starting. I think that this is just a “don’t overthink it” game and take the better team. In this instance, it is the Miami Dolphins.

Los Angeles Rams vs New England Patriots
On the flip side of last week’s Monday Night Football game, the Los Angeles Rams get a chance to get their season back on track this week as they take on the New England Patriots. The Rams have their backs up against the wall, as sitting at 4-5, it really feels like their season hangs in the balance in this one. The good news for the Rams is that they are somewhat healthy compared to what we saw earlier this season.
This is a game where Kyren Williams should be able to find some success on the ground, as the New England Patriots have given up 1,305 rushing yards this season. Once Williams gets going, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua will find some space to work open. With Matt Stafford at quarterback, I think that the Rams are just the more talented team in this one.
