The NFL Playoff Picture is becoming a bit clearer, with clear contenders and a whole bunch of pretenders. However, the list of teams on the “bubble” may be longer than we have ever seen. There is a lot of mediocrity across the league, and we are attempting to rank them all in the Week 15 NFL Power Rankings below.

The 32 teams below are ranked both on where they stand and where they are projected to go. This means that the injuries of today do play a major factor. The NFL is a short season and every loss matters.

With that being said, let’s jump into the Week 15 NFL Power Rankings!

NFL Power Rankings For Week 15

1) San Francisco 49ers (Last Week: 1)

It wasn’t as easy as last time around, but the San Francisco 49ers got another divisional win over the Seattle Seahawks. Brock Purdy is the favorite to win the NFL MVP, and it’s tough to argue. He is making the right plays and getting the ball to his playmakers. Defensively, they let Drew Lock have success, but they still made the plays they needed most.

2) Baltimore Ravens (3)

It took them until overtime, but the Baltimore Ravens continue to win. They are one of the most well-rounded teams in the league, and they are the healthiest they have been in years. Lamar Jackson continues to play at an MVP level without the recognition, for some reason. This entire Ravens team really isn’t getting much recognition, except in FlurrySports’ NFL Power Rankings.

3) Philadelphia Eagles (2)

Costly turnovers doomed the Philadelphia Eagles against the Dallas Cowboys this past week. This means two straight losses for Philly, causing the “talking heads” to panic and ask what’s wrong with the Eagles. They’re perfectly fine. The Eagles are worse than last year, due to a slightly lesser offensive line, an injured Jalen Hurts and the defense not making the big plays, but they are still one of the best teams in the league. They slide in the NFL Power Rankings because of the back-to-back losses, but it would still be surprising if they do not make the NFC Championship.

4) Kansas City Chiefs (4)

Once again, the refs decided the game in a Kansas City Chiefs loss. Kadarius Toney was certainly offside, but it wasn’t a penalty that gave the Chiefs an advantage, which means it probably shouldn’t have been called at that point in the game. To be honest, I came away from this game with more confidence in the Chiefs. The offense is starting to gel a little bit, Travis Kelce looked better, and it was nice to see some fire from Patrick Mahomes. They will win out, giving them a 12-5 record entering the playoffs.

5) Dallas Cowboys (5)

The Dallas Cowboys are absolutely legit… when they are at home. I’m not going to say they can’t play when they’re on the road, but they still need to legitimize themselves in this area. However, this past week’s divisional win was huge, as it keeps the door open for a possible NFC East title (if the Eagles keep slipping), which would mean a home playoff game. The Cowboys are as talented as anyone. Now, we’ll see if this season’s confidence was the missing ingredient to a deep playoff run.

6) Miami Dolphins (6)

In a spotlight game, the Miami Dolphins didn’t live up to the hype. Of course, the Tyreek Hill injury made an impact, but he returned to the game and Miami still lost to the Tennessee Titans. If a team is willing to smack the Dolphins in the mouth, it feels like Miami will shrink. However, if they can play their game, they run circles around their opponents. With a tough end to the season, we will find out what this team is made of.

7) Buffalo Bills (8)

The Buffalo Bills are not currently in the playoffs, but they are one of the 10 best teams in the league. Also, we know they will be in the postseason. The league needs as much superstar power as they can get, and the Bills supply that. If there is another “coin flip” game coming up, expect the Bills to get the calls to help them out. Regardless, they have a lot of firepower and are a team with a tremendously high ceiling.

They also have a domestic abuser on the defensive line that we aren’t talking about because we’d rather discuss a story from 2019. Listen to the FlurrySports Podcast for more on that.

8) Detroit Lions (7)

The Detroit Lions are falling apart in front of us. The defense continues to struggle, and that won’t change going forward. The scheme isn’t great, but they also don’t have enough talent on that side of the ball. However, the biggest change and worry is on offense. They ran the ball well, but they weren’t in a position to stick with it. Detroit was again picked apart in obvious pass situations, and Jared Goff looks more like Jared Goof when there’s any kind of pressure. They need a confidence-building game immediately.

9) Jacksonville Jaguars (9)

I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are dangerously similar to the Detroit Lions. Defensively, they sit back in a zone and don’t really try. Offensively, this offense is built upon the fact that Trevor Lawrence is a franchise quarterback, and… he may not be at that elite level. They are talented and are capable of looking great when everything goes well. However, they make too many mistakes to fully trust them.

10) Cleveland Browns (17)

For the record, I don’t think there are 10 teams worth talking about. However, we’ll give a quick mention to the Cleveland Browns. Joe Flacco looked good for Cleveland. In fact, he has looked like the best Browns quarterback this season. However, they will need to keep him upright, and injuries to the offensive line won’t help that. Regardless, the Browns’ defense is great and the offense is looking good enough.

11) Los Angeles Rams (13)

12) Denver Broncos (14)

13) Cincinnati Bengals (15)

14) Pittsburgh Steelers (10)

15) Seattle Seahawks (11)

16) Indianapolis Colts (16)

17) Houston Texans (12)

18) Atlanta Falcons (22)

19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (23)

20) Green Bay Packers (19)

21) Minnesota Vikings (18)

22) New York Jets (25)

23) New Orleans Saints (21)

24) Chicago Bears (26)

25) Tennessee Titans (24)

26) Los Angeles Chargers (20)

27) New York Giants (29)

28) New England Patriots (31)

29) Arizona Cardinals (28)

30) Washington Commanders (27)

31) Las Vegas Raiders (30)

32) Carolina Panthers (32)
