This is going to be a hectic start to our week. I’m not sure if you have gotten random phone calls about it or had family members start screaming matches because of it, but the NFL Trade Deadline is on Tuesday. It will be a day when our entire country is waiting for something big to happen, as it is the last time teams can make trades. All teams in the top 10 of the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings below will be considered “buyers” at the deadline, while many of the bottom teams will be “sellers.”
The NFL has been active with trades already. So, while the actual trade deadline day typically lets us down, it is my hope that we have major moves that will affect the NFL Power Rankings for next week.
Our weekly NFL Power Rankings will be released here on FlurrySports every Tuesday, so make sure to check them out every single week to see which direction your team is trending.
NFL Power Rankings For Week 10
1) Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week: 1)
The Kansas City Chiefs did it again, keeping ahold of the top spot in the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings. Patrick Mahomes and the passing attack came alive, as DeAndre Hopkins turned back the clock on Monday Night Football. The only thing that can stop this team is a major injury (since they have gotten by with all of the other injuries). There was a scare with Mahomes on Monday, but he appears to be alright.
2) Detroit Lions (2)
The Detroit Lions continue to play like the best team in the NFL. This week, they faced a new test by playing a road divisional game outside. It was their first game outdoors this season, and it was raining, but it did not phase this team. Now, their confidence is at an all-time high, they get WR2 Jameson Williams back from suspension, and they are likely trading for an edge rusher to improve this defense even more. Watch out for these Lions.
3) Baltimore Ravens (3)
The slow start may have brought a bit of concern to Baltimore Ravens fans this past weekend. However, that was quickly taken away with the Ravens’ 31-point victory. This Baltimore team recently traded for another weapon in Diontae Johnson. This should be concerning to everyone, as this offense is absolutely loaded. We will see if the defense gets a new addition at the trade deadline, because it is needed.
4) San Francisco 49ers (4)
The San Francisco 49ers enjoyed a much-needed bye week. Now, we will see if Week 10 is the return of Christian McCaffrey.
5) Philadelphia Eagles (5)
The Philadelphia Eagles are 6-2, yet many fans still want their head coach fired. Alright. This team is playing really well, but injuries continue to plague this offense. They haven’t had their full group of starting weapons since Week 1, and another injury to AJ Brown is concerning. This team will continue to play well, and they very well could be one of those teams that peaks at the right time, as they get healthier.

6) Buffalo Bills (7)
The Buffalo Bills were without their newest weapon, Amari Cooper, who they recently traded for. This wasn’t the sole reason, but the Bills’ offense sucked in the first half against the Miami Dolphins. They came alive after the break to win the game, but the defense has clear weaknesses while the offense plays inconsistently. Look for Buffalo to be making a couple of calls early this week as well.
7) Houston Texans (6)
The Houston Texans offense looked bad this week without both Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs. The good news is that Collins should be back very soon. The bad news is that this Houston offensive line continues to be terrible in pass protection, as we have seen all season long. It will take more than just one trade to fix this group, but they will need to figure it out for Houston to make it out of Wild Card Weekend.
8) Pittsburgh Steelers (8)
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a bye week, staying put in the NFL Power Rankings.
9) Atlanta Falcons (9)
The Atlanta Falcons don’t seem to get as much respect as they deserve, but this continues to be a solid football who is the clear favorite in their division. The offense has studs all over while the defense does as well. However, they are in desperate need of an edge rusher. Without this addition this week, Atlanta won’t have true Super Bowl aspirations.
10) Minnesota Vikings (10)
The Minnesota Vikings defense looked outstanding against the Indianapolis Colts this past week. Sam Darnold showed how he can crumble under pressure, but the Vikings overall controlled that entire game and got a solid road win. Despite the injury to Christian Darrisaw, this is still a solid team. However, with a lack of depth across the board, they cannot afford many more injuries.
