Taurean Prince Out
Prince will be out of action tonight for the Hawks. We have a very limited sample size of this team without him, since he played in every game for Atlanta last year. In 84 minutes without him this season, Trae Young has a 36% usage rate, and increase of 6.8%. This has led to a 0.23 fantasy point bump per minute, and the rookie is currently projected to play 32 minutes. Kent Bazemore also sees a 4.5% usage bump, and DeAndre Bembry is expected to get the start. More analysis on him below.
Player Highlights
- DeAndre Bembry will likely start with Taurean Prince doubtful to play. Obviously, this means a minute bump for Bembry. He has averaged about 0.93 fantasy points per minute this season. With the starters, it’s likely this goes down slightly, but let’s say he gets 0.88 fantasy points per minute, which would equal 26.4 if he saw 30 minutes. At $4900 on FD and $4300 on DK, I’ll take it.
- Deandre Ayton is facing a Nets squad who sucks against centers and gets dominated on the glass. I don’t love his price on FD ($8500), but $7500 on DK is certainly doable. He should see minutes in the low 30’s, assuming this game stays close (spread currently even). So he is a safe bet for all game formats on DK tonight.
