Spanning the 15 years included in the table, the average length of the national anthem is 121 seconds (2:01). The longest time in that span came courtesy of Alicia Keys, who took 155 seconds (2:35) to belt the anthem at Super Bowl XLVII. In the prior year at Super Bowl XLVI, Kelly Clarkson took only 94 seconds (1:34) to give her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner”.
