The NASCAR Cup Series will take to the Tricky Triangle this week, with Pocono Raceway hosting the M&Ms Fan Appreciation 400. This will be the first race on the 2.5-mile triangle with the Next-Gen cars. NASCAR took one of the two Pocono race dates away in favor of giving it to the World Wide Technology Raceway. So, we don’t have a lot of data on this track with the new cars. That being said, the usual crew should be out in front come race day. Read below for DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks and advice for the M&Ms Fan Appreciation 400 race on Sunday.
DraftKings NASCAR DFS Overview
In this DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks column, we will be using DraftKings prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:
- .25 points for leading a lap
- .45 points for the fastest laps
- Add/subtract a half-point based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
- Points based on where the driver finishes
M&Ms Fan Appreciation 400 Drivers to Consider | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks
Kyle Busch ($10,600)
The highest-priced driver should be in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineup and here is why. Kyle Busch won here last year and did it after having problems with his shifter. Kyle has been average the last two weeks after being a boom or bust the weeks before. He has this place figured out in the past, so it is up to his crew to give him the car he needs to win. Put the 18 car into your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
Kevin Harvick ($9,000)
The 4 team has not had the season they wanted through 20 races this season. That could change Sunday. Kevin Harvick needs to win to get himself into the playoffs as he is currently 68 points out of the cutline. Coming to a track where he has the best average finish with a 5.5 place average finish. He needs to either find his way into Victory Lane or gain a ton of points to help his situation. That being said we like Harvick for your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
Michael McDowell ($6,500)
You need a cheap option this week for your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups to help pick the big boys. Take a shot on Michael McDowell. He has had a career year in terms of top 10s with eight for an underfunded team. The 34 team has been getting 30 points the last few weeks and for this price that is not bad. Trust McDowell and put him in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Noah Gragson ($5,600)
This should be an easy decision for you, but let us make this even easier. Noah Gragson has not been the driver he should be in the 16 car. He is usually wrecking out or doing poorly. He has not proved himself in the car yet until he does pass on him. Avoid the 16 team this week in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
Tyler Reddick ($8,300)
Tyler Reddick has had a rough last few weeks since winning the race at Road America. That slide should continue this week at Pocono. Reddick has an average finish of 21.3 in his four starts at the track so he has not put up the stats at this track. Do not put the 8 car in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups this week.
Joey Logano ($9,600)
Joey Logano has had below-average DK points days in four out of the last five races. Based on his history at the track that trend will continue. Logano has an average finish of 18.2 in his last ten races at Pocono. Logano has not had the stuff the last few weeks so leave him on the bench for your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
