Michigan vs Wisconsin College Basketball Betting Preview

Even though Michigan has fallen well short of their lofty expectations going into this season, they have shown some progress recently. The Wolverines have won three of their last four, including a massive 82-58 home win over fifth-ranked Purdue. Although they have started to heat up lately, the question is whether they are lucky, or just able to play complimentary basketball. In their last four games, Michigan scored under 59 points in two games and over 80 points in the other two. Their inconsistent offense, mixed with a lackluster defense this season, makes this team nearly impossible to predict.

Wisconsin looked good in their most recent game which resulted in a road win at Indiana. It helped take some of the sting out from their previous game where they lost a very winnable game to Rutgers at home. This Badgers team can be so electric, but can also be completely flat. Guard Johnny Davis is arguably the most electric player in the nation right now, but when his shots aren’t falling, it seems that Brad Davison’s aren’t either. When both of those guards are missing their shots, Wisconsin is lucky to hit 65 points. Which version of Davis and Davison are we going to see today?

Michigan vs Wisconsin Prediction | College Basketball Betting Picks

Johnny Davis is coming off of his third 30-point performance of the season after a win over Indiana. The previous two times he scored 30+ points, he averages 23 points per game. Brad Davison is coming off of a 21-point performance after scoring under double digits in his previous four games. It would seem that Davison is starting to get back on track offensively.

Seeing that Davis and Davison seem to be heating up, this has the making of a classic game where the duo go off and virtually win the game themselves. Wisconsin has plenty of role players who can also step up when needed too. Wisconsin has the more consistent offense and for that reason, bet on them to cover the small spread.
