The 2024 NFL Draft is shaping up to be a strong draft class, highlighted by some terrific offensive playmakers. Even with one of the deepest wide receiver classes in recent memory, former Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is looking like one of the best receiver draft prospects.

When is the 2024 NFL Draft?
The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 25, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 26th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, Apil 27th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
When your dad is Marvin Harrison, you know you’re going to be ready for the NFL. He has good releases off the line and leaves defenders in the dust on some of the quickest cuts and cleanest routes you’ll see at the college level. He has good awareness and can contort his body to make some ridiculous catches. He may be one of the most complete wide receivers we’ve seen come out of college in a while.
Weaknesses
One of the only weaknesses in Harrison’s game is that he doesn’t have the top-end speed you’d like to see out of a receiver. While he is certainly shifty, he certainly isn’t a burner either. In addition, although it’s only been an issue for this past season, the amount of drops he had in 2023 raised some eyebrows.
