Marcus Jones Draft Profile

Strengths

Marcus Jones has silky smooth hips and is extremely clean in his transitions. Despite his size, he is also a willing and tough tackler. He is not afraid of contact at all. Possibly the best part of Marcus Jones’ game is his ability as a returner. He has been the best returner in college football for a couple of years.

Weaknesses

We mentioned his size above, and it will limit him in the NFL. Standing at only 5-8, Jones is tiny, even for a slot cornerback. He will struggle to challenge receivers at the catch point. Jones was also a redshirt senior, so he is on the older side of the prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft.
