The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
The first thing that jumps off the tape for Malaki Starks is that he is a good tackler when he’s in a position to make one. Over his college career, Starks missed just 15 total tackles across 43 games. He has solid athleticism and knows how to play the game correctly. The former Georgia safety has plenty of experience in the box, deep, or in the slot. Starks has played in many big games and is not a stranger to playing in big moments.
Weaknesses
Anybody who watched his film against Texas in this year’s SEC Championship is wondering why he has a first-round grade on him. He got caught by misdirection often, took a few really bad angles that led to big gains and/or touchdowns, and didn’t stick in man coverage as well as he should have. While Starks does make some really big plays, he’s also often the one giving them up.
