Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have officially joined forces in New York. However, they will be playing for the Brooklyn Nets as opposed to the New York Knicks, as was once the popular prediction.

The player-option on Kyrie’s fourth and final year is a nice touch that likely helped seal the deal for him to join the Nets. Aside from Durant, DeAndre Jordan will also be joining Kyrie in Brooklyn.
