Keon Coleman Scouting Report

Strengths

Keon Coleman started his college career as a basketball player for Michigan State under Tom Izzo. With his basketball talents, Coleman excels at playing above the rim and making incredible contested catches. Coleman works at breaking hard out of his routes, and he boxes out corners to go up and make catches against anyone of any size. He has also shown skill in breaking tackles, especially in the return game.

Weaknesses

What Coleman excels at in size, he lacks in speed. While he can somewhat get away from defenders in the open field, he struggles with accelerations in and out of his routes. The separation issues could play a big factor, especially if he is double-teamed. With his big frame, Coleman does lack in the blocking game and will need to improve in order to be an every-down guy.
