Given the insane athletic specimen that he is, whichever team drafted Kenyon Sadiq was going to be lucky to have him. The New York Jets were so impressed that they pulled the trigger despite drafting a tight end in the middle rounds last year. Now that he has his team, the Kenyon Sadiq fantasy football outlook is a bit clearer. While there is plenty that can change between now and the regular season, rosters are mostly set, and dynasty rookie drafts will kick off as soon as next week.
Below, we will take a look at the draft profile for the former Oregon tight end. We will also give our instant takeaways about Kenyon Sadiq’s fantasy value for both redraft and dynasty fantasy football leagues.

Kenyon Sadiq Scouting Report
Strengths
When looking at tape of Kenyon Sadiq, the first thing that jumps off the page about him is his superior athleticism. Running a 4.39 at the NFL Combine, Sadiq set the record for the fastest 40-time by a tight end in combine history. Adding to that, his vertical jump of 43.5 inches separates him from the recent crop of tight ends that have entered the league. This athleticism proves that he is a dangerous receiving threat down the middle of the field.
His 6-3, 240-pound frame makes him a prime mismatch option when taking on linebackers and defensive backs. With his great size, Sadiq also possesses quick feet and balance that he used in college to destroy man coverage.
On top of everything that you want in receiving tools, Sadiq showed a lot of versatility, as he lined up all over the field for Oregon last season, including taking sweeps and other runs. Lining up in the slot, out wide, in the backfield, and being a part of a motion offense should give offensive coordinators a reason to want him on the field.
Weaknesses
While his receiving work looks as good as any tight end in the draft, that seems to be his role in the NFL, as he does not bring a whole lot to write home about in the blocking game. His 240-pound frame looks good as a receiving option, but as a blocking option, taking on some of the strong edges in the NFL, there is a lot to be desired.
In regard to the receiving game, Sadiq has shown that he can be knocked off his route and struggle when defenders get their hands on him. Sadiq also needs to shore up his hands, as he has shown signs of dropping very catchable passes.
Kenyon Sadiq Fantasy Football Outlook
Sadiq’s 2026 Value
Despite landing with the Jets, I remain bullish on Sadiq’s fantasy football potential in his rookie season. That said, there will be competition for targets within this offense. Garrett Wilson, AD Mitchell and fellow First-Round draftee Omar Cooper Jr. form a solid trio at receiver. As of now, Sadiq will also have to contend with second-year pro Mason Taylor at his own position.
It will be interesting to see if landing Sadiq opens the door for the Jets to move on from Taylor via trade. For now though, I think it’s safe to expect new OC Frank Reich to deploy a lot of two-tight end sets, something he did with regularity at Stanford last year. Despite the competition within this offense, Sadiq has the athletic gifts to still crack the top-15 at TE in fantasy if enough targets come his way.
Kenyon Sadiq Dynasty Fantasy Football Value
Given the other skill position players in the fold, my excitement to draft Sadiq in dynasty formats is easily greater than it is for 2026 redraft purposes. He has the potential to be an absolute stud at the tight end position in fantasy for years to come. Say what you want about the Jets, but they have quietly put together a really nice offseason with their moves. Even if it all goes south, I don’t think even they are capable of ruining Sadiq’s career.
As things currently stand, Sadiq should still be expected to be a popular target in the mid-first round of dynasty rookie drafts.
