Kenneth Walker III Draft Profile

Strengths

Aside from his 4.38-second 40-yard dash time, Kenneth Walker III is extremely compact and powerful. His shiftiness and speed is an obvious attraction, but he possesses some serious talent as a pure runner. Walker has the ability to create something out of nothing and almost acts on his reactions rather than his instincts. His body control and quick cuts will certainly be the determining factor for teams considering him.

Weaknesses

Walker’s decision-making and reactiveness are his biggest downside. He needs to run with more discipline and needs to trust his offensive line to open the correct hole for him to run through. Many times during the 2021 season, Walker consistently searched for cutback opportunities, which led to a bigger loss of yards. He’ll be a great workhorse in the NFL but will need to improve his third-down capability to reach maximum success.
