Jordan Battle Draft Profile
Strengths
Defensive backs under Nick Saban are coached well and know the game, but Jordan Battle takes it to another level. His high football IQ is obvious, and he diagnoses plays quickly. He is rarely out of position, with his overall play making him one of the safest, most NFL-ready prospects at safety. Battle has the build of an NFL player, and he has good change-of-direction.
Weaknesse
Jordan Battle’s burst isn’t going to scare anyone, and his range deep is not overall impressive. While he is a physical safety that isn’t afraid to hit, his pursuit angles can get him out of position. Battle could also improve in man coverage, though teams could easily hide this at safety.
