The NBA Playoffs continue on Monday night with Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. After the Celtics steamrolled to a Game 2 win, very few people were favoring the Heat as the series shifted to Boston for Game 3. Despite having to play the second half without superstar Jimmy Butler, Miami was able to regain home-court advantage in this best-of-seven series. Game 3 was certainly a surprising result relative to the Heat vs Celtics prediction. Will more surprises be in store on Monday night? While the Heat do expect to have Butler back on the floor, other key names continue to linger on the Heat vs Celtics injury report ahead of Game 4.

Below, we will go over our Heat vs Celtics prediction, the injury report for both teams, NBA betting odds from BetUS Sportsbook, a free stream for the NBA Playoffs and much more!

Heat vs Celtics Prediction

Based on how Games 1 and 2 of these Eastern Conference Finals went, many felt that the Heat would be hard-pressed to be competitive on the road in Boston, much less steal a win. Miami proved the doubters wrong on Saturday night. The Heat raced out to a 21-point lead after the first quarter of play. Although the Celtics made a run at things down the stretch, Miami never surrendered the lead. This despite Boston’s Jaylen Brown dropping 40 points and Heat star Jimmy Butler being unavailable in the second half due to knee swelling.

Ahead of Monday night’s Game 4, the Heat vs Celtics injury report is loaded with key names. Thus far, only Miami’s Tyler Herro has officially been ruled out. While this will certainly hurt the Heat offensively, that blow will be lessened if Bam Adebayo is able to replicate his Game 3 performance. After only scoring 16 points in Games 1 and 2 combined, Adebayo exploded on Saturday night. The Celtics were playing without top center Robert Williams III and Adebayo took full advantage to punish Boston in the paint.

Williams’ status for Game 4 remains unknown. Teammate Marcus Smart is in a similar boat for the Celtics after twisting his ankle badly two days ago. Tonight’s Heat vs Celtics prediction could hinge greatly on who is able to play for both teams. This series is quickly turning into a war of attrition. Of course, given how these two teams play defense, it’s hard to believe they would have it any other way. Interestingly enough, all three games in this series so far have gone over the total. Sure, it was a nailbiter on Saturday, but it ultimately still got there.

Is tonight finally the game in which we have an under hit? Despite the fact that 66% of all bets are on the over, the NBA betting trends indicate that the total has dipped two full points from opening. It’s hard to believe that a Heat vs Celtics under is suddenly a contrarian play, but that’s exactly where things stand ahead of Game 4.
