There was no stopping Trae Young in Game 1. While he only shot 4-13 from deep, he shot 50% from the floor overall, leading to a game-high 48 points. He dished 11 assists on top of that, which ended up being enough for a three-point win. Bogdan Bogdanovic was clearly limited with his knee injury. The player to step up as that secondary scoring option for the Hawks was John Collins, who finished the game with a solid 23-point, 15-rebound double-double. He was the x-factor in Game 1, but he will need to do it again for Atlanta to pick up another road win.
It was a point guard battle in Milwaukee, as Jrue Holiday was also aggressive in the game, finishing with a 33-point double-double. Giannis Antetokounmpo was one assist shy of a triple-double, through that does not tell the full story. The Hawks want Giannis to be the player bringing the ball up the floor, and the Bucks continue to let it happen. Though, they still would have won if Khris Middleton shot a little better. He finished the game 6-23 overall and 0-9 from long range.

Hawks vs Bucks Prediction
This NBA prediction uses NumberFire’s probability model. They give Milwaukee a 79.6% chance to win Game 2 of this NBA Playoffs matchup.
Despite the Game 1 result, the spread for this game is exactly the same. I will say the same thing as I did last time. While I expect the Bucks to win, eight points is a lot for them to cover. I think the Hawks will keep it close enough to cover eight points, especially if the total goes under, as it has done often in recent matchups between these teams.
