With all the uncertainty surrounding the Green Bay Packers this offseason, fans should be excited to receive a little bit of clarity. On Wednesday evening, the Packers 2021 schedule was officially released. More importantly, tickets are on sale for the 2021 season!

Packers 2021 Schedule

Packers Schedule Analysis

While the Packers have a tough schedule, based on the BS strength of schedule analysis (which bases value on last season’s teams), the schedule makers did help Green Bay out a little bit.

They open the season at the New Orleans Saints. While playing in New Orleans is always tough, playing them in Week 1 is the best time.

The Saints are 3-7 in Week 1 games, over the past 10 years. On top of that, New Orleans made a lot of cuts to get under the cap this offseason, and Drew Brees is no longer playing. In other words, the Packers have the advantage over a team that will still be learning to play together.

The Packers also received a Week 13 bye week. A later bye is always considered better (check Tampa last season). On top of that, the Packers end the season with four of their final six games coming at home. Nobody wants to travel to Lambeau once it gets cold, but that is what teams will be tasked to do.

Finally, the NFL wants Week 18 games to feature divisional matchups so there will be many high stakes games. Luckily, the Packers face the Lions, who should be out of everything, so it should be an easier win.
