It doesn’t end there, as five players that are eligible to play have already been ruled out. However, they have gotten wins when shorthanded already this season, including a dominating 25-3 win over the Panthers last week.
This needs to be a get-right game for the Chiefs, and it is shaping up to play out this way. However, the Giants have a couple of good pass rushers, which is what has caused issues for Kansas City this season. When teams have gotten pressure with their front line, the rest of the defense has been able to sit on routes and cause headaches to Patrick Mahomes. If the Chiefs protect Mahomes or get the ball out quickly when they can’t protect him, they should be able to score with ease. However, they also need to play a complete game and find a way to get stops on defense.
