The fantasy football season has officially begun! In a previous article this week, we discussed the FlurrySports Fantasy Football Pirate League. If you are confused about what a pirate league is, check out that article.
In short, the winner gets to force a trade with the loser or steal their entire FAAB budget. We have other rules in place as well, so check out that article here!
Since that post, we have fully drafted our rosters. Each team also needed to submit the players they would be protecting on their team, as well as their targets on their opponent’s team. Let’s go over each roster, then discuss which players are up for grabs during Week 1 of the NFL season!

Week 1 Fantasy Football Targets
As outlined in the official league rules, prior to kickoff of Thursday Night Football, each team must protect two players in their starting lineup while targeting three players from their opponent. The winner of the weekly matchup will get to force a trade for one of the players they were targeting, as long as their opponent did not protect them.
