Every Monday, we will be releasing our FCS Spring Football Rankings, with some of the major storylines over the weekend. (1) Weber State sat idle, as they watched (2) NDSU dominate (6) North Dakota on Saturday, behind a 190-yard rushing performance by Bison running back Hunter Luepke.
The Dukes from (4) James Madison were once again idle this weekend. With games at William & Mary and (10) Richmond in the next two weeks, the Dukes could be peaking right around postseason time. (3) South Dakota State dominated Southern Illinois from start to finish, winning 44-3.
(5) Sam Houston State beat Lamar 62-7. (8) Kennesaw State rallied to beat Dixie State, 37-27. (10) Richmond was idle as well, setting up for some great CAA football action down the stretch. Finally, (9) Rhode Island beat Albany in overtime, 17-10, giving them back to back wins over CAA rivals.

FCS Spring Football Top-10 Headlines | College Football News
(1) Weber State holds on to the number one spot, despite being idle. Don’t look now, but the Bison are nipping at their heels.
(2) NDSU breezed past (6) North Dakota, 34-13. Bison running back Hunter Luepke had 190 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns. Tommy Schuster struggled for the Fighting Hawks, going 13-26 for 143 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.
(3) South Dakota State absolutely pummeled (7) Southern Illinois in Saluki Stadium, 44-3. Jackrabbits quarterback Mark Gronowski and running back Isaiah Davis combined for over 250 yards rushing and five touchdowns. South Dakota State only had 70 passing yards all game.
(4) James Madison and (10) Richmond both sat idle while CAA rival (9) Rhode Island beat Albany, 17-10, in overtime. Rams quarterback Kasim Hill was an explosive threat all day, throwing for over 150 yards, with one passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown as well.
(8) Kennesaw State stayed unbeaten after beating Dixie State, 37-27. The Owls’ dual-threat quarterback ran the ball 20 times for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
