When it comes to fantasy football streamers, the defense/special teams position is always one to monitor consistently on the waiver wire. In deep formats, it can be hard to find a defense that returns a solid value, which is why many fantasy owners opt to intentionally stream the position all season long, playing positive matchups over drafting a highly-regarded unit. For those looking to do just that, read on for three fantasy football Week 7 defense streamers that are worth consideration.

Keep in mind, there are four teams on a bye (BUF, LAR, MIN, PHI).

Defenses must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 7 defense streamers column. All ownerships for defenses will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 7 Defense Streamers

New York Jets Fantasy Outlook at DEN (28.0%)

How about the 4-2 Jets? Their defensive play has been the major reason for their success this season so far, and they have a prime matchup against one of the most underwhelming offenses in the league in the Broncos. Teams facing the Broncos average about 8.5 fantasy points thus far, meaning they barely get touchdowns, let alone yards. The Jets defense will pressure Russell Wilson all day long and likely force a few turnovers in the process. They will be the top option amongst the fantasy football Week 7 defense streamers.

New York Giants Fantasy Outlook at JAX (9.0%)

The other team in New Jersey has also been very good to start the season, and that’s the New York Giants. The Giants are 5-1 and have won some close games but the defense has come up big when it mattered. They get to face the underwhelming Jaguars offense in this one, who can be good at times, but will likely look out of sorts for the majority of this game. The Giants aren’t a flashy option because they’ve only surpassed double-digit fantasy points once this season but are able to get consistent pressure and force a few turnovers a game.

Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Outlook vs. ATL (43.5%)

The Cincinnati Bengals defense is underrated and has great players on each level of defense and gets a prime matchup against the Falcons. The Falcons seem to play good against good teams but terrible against bad teams so far this season, so it’s possible they actually look decent enough to move the ball. But, the Bengals should be able to generate a ton of pressure and make Marcus Mariota make mistakes. The Falcons simply have no true threat on offense so the Bengals will be able to try out different things all game until they find what works well.
