Fantasy Football Week 6 WR Streamers

Robert Woods Fantasy Outlook (21.6%)

Robert Woods was a household name in fantasy football not so long ago, but he has since entered “desperation start” status for streamer-reliant teams heading into Week 6. With rookie wide receiver Tank Dell (concussion) likely to sit out this week, Woods has emerged as a fantasy football Week 6 WR streamers option with a clear path to volume.

Dell left Sunday’s game against the Falcons after recording three catches on four targets, paving the way for Woods to finish with three catches on nine targets while racking up just 30 yards. There’s no reason to think Woods won’t continue to see more targets in Dell’s absence, making him flex-viable in Week 6.

Kendrick Bourne Fantasy Outlook (21.7%)

I know it may not be ideal to gain exposure to the Patriots’ putrid offense this season, but Kendrick Bourne has fantasy viability based on volume alone. Both Demario Douglas and JuJu Smith-Schuster are likely to miss Week 6 with concussions.

Despite the horrible start to the season for the Patriots’ offense, Bourne paces the team in targets and has a somewhat favorable setup at an indoor Allegiant Stadium against a Raiders team that has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to wideouts.

Trenton Irwin Fantasy Outlook (1%)

Just when you thought the direct beneficiary of Tee Higgins’ absence was going to be Tyler Boyd, enter Trenton Irwin. Irwin out-targeted Boyd 10-7, had eight catches to Boyd’s six and collected 60 yards compared to Boyd’s 39.

The Bengals have listed Higgins as questionable heading into Week 6, and they may opt to play it safe with Higgins as they have a bye in Week 7. If you’ve missed out on some of the bigger names heading into this week, Irwin could be the sleeper fantasy football Week 6 WR streamers option.
