The fourth week of the NFL season is in the books! When it comes to the tight end position, fantasy football managers either aim for an elite tight end or look for fantasy football streamers on the waiver wire. Streaming a tight end each week can be a nightmare because the position is essentially a wasteland more often than not, aside from the usual top options. However, if you’ve taken this route this year, read on for three fantasy football Week 5 TE streamers that are worth your consideration.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 5 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 5 TE Streamers

Tyler Conklin Fantasy Outlook vs MIA (39.8%)

Tyler Conklin failed to post double-digit fantasy points for the first time this season, and that could be attributed to the fact that Zach Wilson is back and had a terrible day through the air. Conklin’s value takes a hit with Wilson at quarterback, but his previous volume shouldn’t be ignored. He’s still the TE8 on the season so far. Tight ends are an absolute wasteland this season, so trying to find one with good volume and consistency will be key to the success of your fantasy squads.

Robert Tonyan Fantasy Outlook vs NYG (21.9%)

The Packers are hard to gauge fantasy-wise, especially the pass-catchers, but Robert Tonyan is a solid option moving forward. He hasn’t posted any eye-opening performances, but in an offense lacking chemistry and overall talent, Tonyan can be a reliable option. He found the end zone for the first time last week and has been targeted 16 times through four games. The Giants have allowed only 6.4 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing tight ends this season, but Aaron Rodgers and company should be able to move the ball.

Will Dissly Fantasy Outlook at NO (4.5%)

This is not an enticing fantasy football Week 5 TE streamers option, I know. The Saints are always good against opposing tight ends, allowing less than 5.0 FPPG this season. Will Dissly doesn’t have the targets to sustain success, as he only has 12 targets in four games, but he has caught all 12 and found the end zone in three of four games. The Seahawks offense will likely struggle with the Saints defense, but Geno Smith has looked solid and Dissly has been on the receiving end of his touchdowns quite a bit.
