Justice Hill Fantasy Outlook (29.4%)
The Ravens’ backfield has been a bit of a mess since J.K Dobbins went down with a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1. Each week, one of Gus Edwards or Justice Hill shows up in streamer articles, and that’s no different for our fantasy football Week 4 RB streamers.
Edwards left Sunday’s game against the Colts with a head injury, opening the door for increased usage for Hill if he returns in Week 4. If Edwards is ruled out, which seems likely, Hill’s return from a minor toe injury renders him a must-add and a likely starting option in Week 4.
Matt Breida Fantasy Outlook (28.9%)
Matt Breida established himself as the clear No. 1 running back in Saquon Barkley’s absence on Thursday night, as he earned nearly 90% of the running back snaps in the first half of the Giants’ Week 3 meeting against the 49ers.
Breida did only run the ball four times for 17 yards, and his performance was saved by a trip to the end zone. However, if Saquon Barkley remains out for the Giants’ Week 4 matchup against Seattle, then Breida should benefit from a more RB-favorable game script.
Kendre Miller Fantasy Outlook (16.6%)
Kendre Miller ran the ball nine times for 34 yards and caught one ball for no yards in his NFL debut against the Packers on Sunday. More importantly, it didn’t seem like Taysom Hill or Tony Jones affected Miller’s usage.
Alvin Kamara is set to return in Week 4, but I see this backfield as more of a dynamic 1-2 punch than Kamara entering a bell cow role. After all, Kendre Miller was the 71st pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. With that type of draft capital invested into a young RB, you can expect the Saints to use him. With Derek Carr set to miss some time as well, the Saints will likely lean on the running game for offensive production.
