As we enter Week 4 of the NFL, the quarterback play is starting to come around, but there are still so many inconsistencies around the league. While the play is improving, it still isn’t top-notch football by any means. Whether that be strong defensive line play, a soft two-high zone, or injuries, one thing is certain – this has affected many in the fantasy football community, leading to many relying on fantasy football Week 4 QB streamers. At this point in the season, I am not sure if you feel comfortable unless you have Josh Allen.
Each week, this column will highlight some of the top fantasy football quarterback streamers that are widely available and ready to be scooped up at a moment’s notice. Read on for our top QB streamers and best positional matchups for Week 4.
Pick the right fantasy football streamer option to get the win this week and continue down the path of fantasy greatness, which ends with you hoisting your league’s trophy, championship belt or champ chain.
Note: Players must be owned in less than 60% of ESPN leagues to be included in the best fantasy football defense streamers column. Ownership percentages will reflect their status on Wednesday mornings following standard waiver processing.

Justin Fields Fantasy Outlook (28.5%)
For one of the last unbeaten teams in the NFL, you would think that the quarterback of the team would be widely owned. That is not the case for Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Justin Fields though. The former Bears quarterback is owned in just 24% of ESPN leagues, making him eligible to be included amongst our fantasy football streamers.
While Fields has been somewhat hesitant to run this season, he has a perfect matchup to do so against a Colts defense that has been awful this year. In Week 2 against the Packers, the Colts gave up 41 rushing yards to Malik Willis. The Packers could run the ball very effectively against the Colts, something that Pittsburgh can do, but not to the same degree. If Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren can get going, I can imagine that will help Fields. Looking beyond Indianapolis, Fields has matchups against Dallas and Raiders – two more below-average defenses that Arthur Smith and company can expose, meaning this pickup could be more than a fantasy football streaming option.
Deshaun Watson Fantasy Outlook (28.7%)
I understand the unease and feeling dirty by including Deshaun Watson, but there is something to be said about being QB17 in fantasy formats. This week he goes against a Raiders defense that has given up 829 passing yards to quarterbacks this season. On top of that, Jack Conklin seems to continue to work towards coming back shortly. Also, David Njoku could be back this week, which will be an instant upgrade for the passing game.
Last week, Andy Dalton was able to torch the Raiders to the tune of 319 yards and three touchdowns. There is no reason why Watson can’t hit at least 70% of those numbers given the much better talent surrounding him, and that is not a shot at Dalton.
Daniel Jones Fantasy Outlook (10.3%)
Don’t look now, but Daniel Jones has back-to-back games with 20+ fantasy points. This week, on Thursday Night Football, he gets the Cowboys, who were decimated on the ground against Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson last week. On a short week, that defense will be sore and beaten down, which can spell another big game for the Duke alum. What really has been working for Jones is his connection with Malik Nabers, who is turning into a star before our eyes. It seems like Jones finally has a real reliable target to bail him out.
Add all of this to the fact that the Cowboys have given up the most yards through the air this season, and Daniel Jones could have top-five quarterback numbers this week. If you are in a spot where you have been relying on fantasy football streamers due to all of the injuries, you do need to make a decision early since the Giants play on Thursday, but I love Jones in this spot.
