With Week 1 in the books, injuries, bad luck and all cons that come with fantasy football have happened. Fantasy managers are now beginning to scout out waiver wire gems that could turn into potential fantasy football Week 2 streamers. The running backs on the waiver wire will likely be scarce in deep formats, but injuries happen and those potential streaming options will surface.

If streaming your RB2 or flex spot is your plan this season, read on for three fantasy football Week 2 streamers at RB that are worth the look.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 2 RB streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 2 RB Streamers

Khalil Herbert Fantasy Outlook at GB (27.1%)

The Khalil Herbert fantasy football outlook is an interesting one. It’s clear the Chicago Bears still want him involved in the offense. As opposed to never seeing more than five carries per game in games in which David Montgomery started last season, Week 1 was promising for his future. Green Bay is generally solid against the run, but we know how they operate early in the season. Herbert could see some increased work if the game were to stay close and competitive.

Jamaal Williams Fantasy Outlook vs. WAS (37.8%)

Jamaal Williams isn’t a must-add fantasy football waiver wire option. Still, he is nice to have on a weekly basis if you need a plug-in starter. The Jamaal Williams fantasy value comes from carries inside the five because it’s clear the Lions and HC Dan Campbell don’t trust D’Andre Swift to take them. Williams will be tough to gauge moving forward until we see more outside of his goal-line carries. Washington allowed just over 17 fantasy points per game (FPPG) last season to opposing running backs and got hit with a few injuries to their defense.

Kenneth Gainwell Fantasy Outlook vs. MIN (27.3%)

The Philadelphia Eagles offense looks rejuvenated. With plenty of running backs in the backfield currently, it’s unlikely Kenneth Gainwell sees consistent carries all the time. However, Miles Sanders is quite injury-prone. It’s clear Gainwell excels in the passing game and gains upside now that the Eagles offense looks better. The Eagles face the Vikings this week, who were the 10th-worst fantasy defense against opposing running backs last year. This game could easily be a shootout and Gainwell will benefit if that’s the case.
