Week 1 has finished and we are officially onto the normal routine of NFL football all the way through February. The wide receiver position is deep this year, and it’s unlikely you voluntarily stream this position this early in the season, but injuries have already hit many WR rooms. If you have been hit by this poor luck, we have a list of fantasy football Week 2 streamers at the WR position that may be extremely helpful.

Read on for three fantasy football Week 2 streamers at WR that are worth your consideration. Despite most having late-round ADPs, these wide receivers have a good chance to carve out more significant roles moving forward.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 2 WR streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 2 Fantasy Football WR Streamers

Curtis Samuel Fantasy Outlook at DET (45.7%)

When Curtis Samuel stays healthy, we’ve seen how electric he can be. That was the case in Week 1, where he saw 11 targets on a usual mediocre offense. The addition of Carson Wentz isn’t going to propel their offense into a powerhouse, but it certainly gives the wide receiver room a chance to produce.

If Wentz looks like he did last week and the Lions play with the same amount of drive, this game could turn out to be a really good one for Curtis Samuel fantasy football owners. Detroit allowed just over 22 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing wide receivers.

Romeo Doubs Fantasy Outlook vs. CHI (22.4%)

The Green Bay Packers looked like their true Week 1 form — abysmal. The wide receiver room is a sticky situation right now, with no true WR1 stepping up. However, Romeo Doubs could easily be that guy. We know Aaron Rodgers doesn’t like rookie wide receivers, but Doubs has the skills to become one of his favorite targets moving forward. He only saw five targets last week, but Green Bay was just off. The good news is they face the Bears, who Rodgers owns. They allowed the sixth-most FPPG to opposing wide receivers last season.

Devin Duvernay Fantasy Outlook vs. MIA (12.5%)

If you have been watching the FlurrySports YouTube live streams, you have heard us talk up the Devin Duvernay fantasy football value for a while now. The Jets did a good job of taking Mark Andrews away from Lamar Jackson last week, which made Duvernay his primary target. I don’t expect him to produce double-digit fantasy points every week, but he has big-play ability. Miami is without their CB2 still. With Xavien Howard likely on Rashod Bateman, Duvernay could post big numbers again.
