The first week of the NFL season was a tough one for fantasy football quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season, Joe Burrow barely showed up to play and Dak Prescott was barely asked to play football. Of course, there were many other instances of poor fantasy football QB output as well, which may have you looking to the waiver wire for fantasy football Week 2 QB streamers.

Pick the right fantasy football streamers option to get the win this week and continue down the path of fantasy greatness, which ends with you hoisting your league’s trophy, championship belt or champ chain.

Players must be owned in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 2 QB streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 2 QB Streamers

Jared Goff Fantasy Outlook (50.2%)

The Detroit Lions had one of the best offenses last season, and not much has changed on their offense heading into this year. While they started slow, Detroit has had 10 days off to figure some things out prior to the game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Obviously, the Seahawks are a team that Jared Goff has a lot of experience against, and he got to watch his former team/offense pick them apart last week. Last season, Goff passed for 378 yards, four touchdowns and an interception against Seattle. He has thrown for over 300 yards in five of his past seven regular-season games against them, and one of his “failed” attempts was a 293-yard output.

While the Jared Goff fantasy football ceiling may not be as high as other options, due to the effectiveness of the Lions’ running game, he should be a solid option this week. To see where Goff ranks, check out our Week 2 Fantasy Football Rankings.

Baker Mayfield Fantasy Outlook (7.3%)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t a team that is built to run the football with effectiveness or any kind of consistency. In other words, they have to throw the football to have success, and Baker Mayfield is more than capable of being productive in this type of scheme.

Last week, Baker Mayfield was the fantasy football QB13, passing for 173 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings. This week, he stays in the weak NFC North, facing a Chicago Bears team that quit in the very first game. If you are looking for a quarterback who will simply not lose you the matchup, consider Baker Mayfield among your fantasy football Week 2 QB streamers.

Zach Wilson Fantasy Outlook (1.9%)

I figured I would throw in a fantasy football Week 2 QB streamers option for deep fantasy leagues where most options are already taken. Obviously, Zach Wilson wasn’t a starter at this time last week, which is why he is likely available on waivers for you.

No, Wilson isn’t the best quarterback for the New York Jets or your fantasy football team. However, given the weapons at his disposal, he should be viable if you are desperate. He looked solid in the preseason and completed two-thirds of his passes on Monday, so we will see if the Zach Wilson fantasy football value can keep this momentum rolling.
