It was an absolutely brutal week of fantasy in Week 15. If you weren’t affected, someone you know definitely was. With more injuries running around, here are three fantasy football streamers you can count on to bring back some success to your team this week.

Read on for three RB fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 16. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these rushers off of waivers. In order to be included in the fantasy football RB streamers article, they must be rostered in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues.

Fantasy Football Streamers | Week 16 RBs

Rashaad Penny | Seattle Seahawks vs CHI (52.7%)

The real running back in Seattle is once again Rashaad Penny. Outside of a monster week against the Houston Texans, Penny has been nothing special. It is important to see, however, that his workload is solid. It did take a dive Tuesday against the Rams, but that was more due to the matchup than anything else.

The Seahawks get to play Chicago next week at home. Chicago’s defense only gives up 4.3 yards per carry, but Seattle will likely win this game. As a result, the game script should work in Seattle’s favor to give Penny more carries. Even if it doesn’t, Chicago has nothing to play for and may be hurting themselves more by winning. With reports of players already disconnected as of Thanksgiving this season, I find it hard to believe Chicago comes to play.

Dontrell Hilliard | Tennessee Titans vs SF (35.3%)

Coming off of two solid performances, it was expected that Dontrell Hilliard would continue to post good numbers coming off a bye against the Jacksonville Jaguars. When that didn’t happen, not much was expected from him against the Pittsburgh Steelers. While he didn’t get double-digit points, his effectiveness and usage are more than worth a look for this week’s matchup.

The Titans head back home to face the San Francisco 49ers, who have been on a tear recently. While this would usually be cause for concern for any player who has to face them, Hilliard’s situation is different. San Francisco’s defense is only giving up 4.2 yards per carry, but Hilliard has also seen increased work in the passing game. While inconsistent usage isn’t ideal, he does have a game with eight, and another with four receptions in his four games this season. His ability as a pass-catcher should see him on the field more often and that in turn should lead to more touches and points for Hilliard.

Rex Burkhead | Houston Texans vs LAC (20.2%)

It’s no secret who the head honcho is in Houston. Rex Burkhead played through his injuries this past week against Jacksonville with modest success. While he wasn’t very effective with the work he was granted, his production will increase this upcoming week. This week, Burkhead and the Texans get a date with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Chargers have been a safe haven for opposing running backs all season. They give up the fifth-most yards per carry, at 4.6 yards. Los Angeles has also given up the fourth-most rushing yards and the third-most rushing touchdowns. With such a strong and steady workload, Burkhead should see similar opportunities with much better results. As long as Burkhead gets over 10 carries, which he’s had in four of his last five games, he’ll be a solid fantasy football play.
