It’s playoff time, which means everything means a little extra. Unfortunately, there are still plenty of injuries and you’re lucky if you have your top two running backs without an injury designation. If you have not been afforded the luxury of health among your running backs this week, it’s tough sledding. This week though, there are three studs still available in most fantasy football leagues that can do just enough to put you over the top this week.

Read on for three RB fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 15. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these rushers off of waivers. In order to be included in the fantasy football RB streamers article, they must be rostered in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues.

Fantasy Football Streamers | Week 15 RBs

    Rhamondre Stevenson at IND (41.7%)

In New England’s last game, everybody knew they were running the ball every play. In the severe winter weather of Buffalo, both Patriots running backs still found a way to be effective. Rhamondre Stevenson had the bigger workload between him and Damien Harris, carrying the ball 24 times for 78 yards. While the efficiency wasn’t quite where you’d want it to be in a normal game, it’s clear this game needs to be weighted differently.

Coming off of a bye week, the Patriots play the Indianapolis Colts, who are fourth against fantasy football running backs. Yet, they don’t scare me. Stevenson has slowly taken over Harris’ lead role and should be much more effective on the ground. On top of that, who wants to bet against Bill Belichick, especially coming off of a bye week? We know the Patriots want to run the ball, and we know they’re going to likely do it well. With Stevenson looking more and more like the lead back each week, he’ll shine.

    Mike Davis at SF (50.7%)

The emergence of Cordarrelle Patterson had turned the Mike Davis fantasy value into ash this season. In the past two weeks, however, Davis has scored 12 or more points in both outings. It would seem the Falcons have finally realized they should give some run to a guy they gave a fat contract to this offseason. The most promising sign we’ve seen from Davis the past two weeks is his utilization in the passing game.

In the last two weeks, Davis has had nine total receptions. Against Carolina last week, Davis also had double-digit carries for the first time since Week 5. In the eight weeks this season that Mike Davis has scored in double figures, he had double-digit carries or five or more receptions in seven of those games. The problem with Davis has never been output, it’s been getting enough usage. Facing a 49ers team just 22nd in the league against fantasy football running backs, he should continue to see his recent usage, thus making him a great streaming option.

    David Johnson at JAX (34.5%)

Illness has cost David Johnson the past two games, and he looks fit to finally return this week. After being added to the COVID/reserve list this past Sunday morning, he was taken off on Monday. Whatever the case was, he’s back and ready for action against a horrible Jacksonville Jaguars team. The Jaguars are middle of the pack against fantasy football running backs. This week, however, game script should finally favor Texans’ running backs.

With David Mills now starting at quarterback for Houston, their team is now not a complete laughing stock. With some semblance of talent in the pocket, running lanes should open up. As a guy who had double-digit carries and at least two receptions in his last two games, Johnson should be a low-risk, low-reward option. Depending on how Mills fares throwing the ball, Johnson could possibly even see a touchdown to spring him into high fantasy football RB2 territory.
