When it comes to fantasy football streamers, the defense/special teams position is always one to monitor. In fact, many owners opt to intentionally stream the position all season long, playing positive matchups over drafting a highly-regarded unit. For those looking to do just that starting in Week 15, this article will have some solid options for you. All bye weeks have been accounted for at this point, making a streaming option much less appealing. But if you want high-upside players to help your team advance to the next round of the fantasy playoffs, here are some to consider.

Read on for three D/ST fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 15.

Defenses must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 15 fantasy football streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 15 Fantasy Football D/ST Streamers

Minnesota Vikings at CHI (31.6%)

The Minnesota Vikings defense hasn’t been great, ranking 19th in fantasy football this season. But they have a prime matchup against an underwhelming, turnover-prone Chicago offense. Minnesota recorded a season-high five sacks last week against the Steelers and has been consistently forcing turnovers over the past few weeks. Opposing defenses facing the Bears average 7.9 fantasy points per game (FPPG), which is promising for the Vikings as a solid streaming option here. It’s the playoffs now, so you want the best bang for your buck. The Vikings will probably be a top streaming option this week.

Las Vegas Raiders at CLE (8.5%)

I normally would never trust the Raiders defense because it has gaps in every aspect, but as a low-owned option against a Browns team that has over 15 players currently on the COVID-19 list, it could pay off big time. It is worth noting that Nick Chubb is still active, which could ruin any fantasy defenses day any week, but most of the key players are currently out. Las Vegas struggles to force turnovers and generate consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks. They rank 26th in fantasy football right now but, if you’re hurting at the defense position, it may be worth the look.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. HOU (6.5%)

Another risky option this week is the miserable Jacksonville Jaguars, who rank as the second-worst fantasy defense this season. However, this week’s matchup is between two of the league’s worst teams, and the Jaguars could post one of their best performances. The Texans are horrible — plain and simple. They can’t figure out the offense and have no run game whatsoever at this point. Davis Mills looked solid last week, but he’s turnover-prone and their offensive line isn’t great by any means. This could bode well for the Jaguars defense to generate some pressure. I expect them to get to Mills at least four or five times.
