As Week 14 begins, there are some players out with injury, which may leave your fantasy football rosters looking a little different and potentially weaker. While it’s hard to bench the fantasy studs you drafted, the option of streaming players off the waiver wire could bode well for your success in your fantasy football league. It is always a better decision to weigh your options and play the player with a much better matchup than start the same guy every week hoping for a breakout game.

Read on for three wide receiver fantasy football streamers for Week 14. With four teams on a bye this week (IND, MIA, NE, PHI), there are plenty of wide receiver streaming options available under 50 percent ownership that could help push your team forward in the right direction. This bye week shouldn’t hurt your team too much aside from Davante Adams and other lowkey options but nonetheless, streamers are always there for consideration.

Players must be owned in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the Week 14 fantasy football wide receiver streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Week 14 Fantasy Football WR Streamers

Russell Gage at CAR (35.0%)

Russell Gage is the clear WR1 in the Atlanta Falcons offense at this point in the season and has posted two impressive outings in back-to-back games. Carolina is not an easy matchup by any means, as they are the fifth-best defense against opposing fantasy football wide receivers this season, allowing only 30.9 fantasy points per game (FPPG). When the Falcons played the Panthers in Week 8, Gage was hurt and out with injury, so we haven’t been able to see what he’s able to do against them yet. He’s seen 27 targets across the last three games and has clearly become Matt Ryan’s go-to target for the rest of the season.

K.J. Osborn vs. PIT (16.6%)

After a strong start to the season, K.J. Osborn slowed down quite a bit. He still saw consistent targets across a stretch of games, but it was simply the Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen show week in and week out. But, with Thielen out with injury, Osborn’s opportunity is there and he has shown he can be a reliable target in this offense. The Steelers have been very mediocre against opposing wide receivers this season, allowing 36.7 FPPG to them. He’ll obviously be the WR2 still behind Jefferson, but it could open up a lot of opportunities for him, drawing weaker coverage while the best focus on Jefferson.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling vs. CHI (10.9%)

Marquez Valdes-Scantling can be a frustrating fantasy player to own at this point, but his 19 targets across the last two games is something to monitor and potentially take the risk on. His floor is quite low, considering he has struggled to post viable fantasy numbers in an offense led by Aaron Rodgers. But in a divisional game against a team allowing over 36 FPPG to opposing wide receivers, he has the chance to post those solid numbers fantasy managers are looking for. Valdes-Scantling is surely a risky fantasy football option to start. It is hard to trust him, but his ownership is low. If you’re in need of a high-volume target, he could be that guy.
