For the majority of leagues, this is it. This is the last week of the fantasy football regular season. Win and you’re likely in. Lose and spend the rest of the fantasy season being the butt of the jokes in your league. With the Colts, Patriots, Eagles and Dolphins all on bye, the availability of good options on the waiver wire may be slimmer than ever. When you factor in matchups, it gets even tougher. There are still three solid options however that should be able to do enough to get you over the finish line.

Read on for three QB fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 14. In some cases, one might still be able to claim these rushers off of waivers. In order to be included in the fantasy football QB streamers article, they must be rostered in less than 60 percent of ESPN leagues.

Fantasy Football Streamers | Week 14 QBs

Taylor Heinicke | Washington Football Team vs DAL (29.5%)

To say Taylor Heinicke limped into the Week 9 bye week for Washington is an understatement. Since then, however, he’s looked like the guy that nearly shocked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in last year’s playoffs. In the four games since the bye, with two coming against Tampa Bay and Carolina, Heinicke has thrown for seven touchdowns and just two interceptions. His lowest completion percentage among those four games was still over 72%.

Dallas’ pass rush is scary. Micah Parsons is having a stellar rookie season and Trevon Diggs is an interception machine. With that in mind, this game is being played in Washington. This team and these fans have had to deal with Dallas fans for the entire season just waiting for their shot to take them down a peg. Washington is clinging to a wild card spot at the moment and can move to within a game of the division lead with a win. Heinicke and Washington have their swagger back and are going to come out guns blazing. Fire up Heinicke as a QB2 if needed.

Taysom Hill | New Orleans Saints at NYJ (35.8%)

Taysom Hill didn’t look good throwing the football against the Dallas Cowboys last week, but it really didn’t matter. Even with four interceptions, two arguably the fault of his offensive line not blocking the rush, Hill dropped over 20 fantasy points. It’s pretty easy to do when you run for over 100 yards after all. Hill played an average Dallas defense that had no answer for his legs. With the Jets on deck, he’ll have an even easier time running the ball.

Hill missed plenty of throws against Dallas. The common theme was the ball being underthrown. With Dallas’ ballhawk secondary, that’s not a good mix. Even if he does throw the same way against the Jets, the turnovers will go down. Not only will he have to face a worse pass rush, but he can trust his receivers to get open with more ease. In a week full of tough matchups, Hill is an easy call as a fantasy football QB1.

Teddy Bridgewater | Denver Broncos vs DET (18.9%)

Teddy Bridgewater had a good matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and unfortunately came up short. In fantasy football, he left much to be desired, as he fell just short of 12 points total. It is important to read deeper into this game, however, to see why he’s still an okay play. First, his interception that was returned for a touchdown saw his hand hit on the throw. While it isn’t much, it does relieve him of criticism especially since he had to get rid of it on fourth down. The good thing about this game that may not be taken into account is the impact of running back Javonte Williams.

The Detroit Lions do not have a great defense. Last week, the Broncos found another weapon in the passing game in Javonte Williams out of the backfield. This Lions secondary was already primed for trouble against Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and Noah Fant. Add in Williams, and the only thing stopping Denver from moving the ball at will at home is themselves. With plenty to play for and going up against a Detroit team coming off of an emotional win, Bridgewater should prove reliable yet again.
