When it comes to the tight end position in fantasy football, it can be difficult to find consistency outside of the top five. Streaming a tight end each week is very popular across fantasy leagues but the position has been a wasteland thus far with not many players emerging on the waiver wire. Read on for three fantasy football Week 12 TE streamers that are worth consideration due to either good matchups or promising target share or production in past performances.

Keep in mind, there are zero teams on bye this week.

Players must be owned in less than 55 percent of ESPN leagues to be included in the fantasy football Week 12 TE streamers column. All ownerships for players will be provided and will reflect that of Wednesday morning, once waivers are processed.

Fantasy Football Week 12 TE Streamers

Juwan Johnson Fantasy Outlook at SF (19.3%)

Juwan Johnson doesn’t have the friendliest of matchups this week against the 49ers, who have been top-10 against opposing tight ends all season, but his usage cannot go unnoticed. He’s caught five touchdowns in the last five games, including one in three straight games. It’s obvious Andy Dalton trusts him in the red zone and usage is all you want when considering fantasy football Week 12 TE streamers.

The 49ers allow just 9.4 fantasy points per game (FPPG) to opposing tight ends this season, the league’s sixth-best, but I’d bet on yet another red zone touchdown for Johnson here.

Trey McBride Fantasy Outlook vs. LAC (6.8%)

The rookie tight end Trey McBride had a lackluster performance in his first-ever NFL start, but he faced the 49ers defense and had Colt McCoy throwing him the ball. He has a much easier matchup this week against the Chargers, who are allowing 13.9 FPPG to opposing tight ends thus far, the sixth-worst. If Kyler Murray can return to full health and get the start, I like McBride’s chances a whole lot more, but even if McCoy draws the start again, he should see plenty of looks and production against a weak Chargers defense.

Taysom Hill Fantasy Outlook at SF (37.4%)

Taysom Hill saw a season-high 42% of snaps last week against the Rams. He has a much tougher matchup against the 49ers this time around, but his sudden uptick in usage suggests the coaching staff values his snaps and will make him a vital part of the game plan. Juwan Johnson is obviously their TE1 moving forward, but Hill offers a ton of upside in the rushing game and red zone. Against a tough Niners defense, it’s likely Andy Dalton struggles and the Saints cling to Hill to make plays himself.
