When it comes to fantasy football streamers, the defense/special teams position is always one to monitor. In fact, many owners opt to intentionally stream the position all season long, playing positive matchups over drafting a highly-regarded unit. For those looking to do just that starting in Week 12, this article will have some solid options for you. Don’t forget there are two teams on a bye this week (ARI and KC), making a streaming option that much more appealing but also less stressful than last week.
Read on for three D/ST fantasy football streamers that are worth consideration for Week 12.

Week 12 Fantasy Football D/ST Streamers
Chicago Bears at DET (45.5%)
The Chicago Bears have had strong defensive performances in back-to-back weeks, scoring 13.0 and 11.0 fantasy football points. If you’re ever going to stream the Bears, this is the week because they’re facing one of the league’s worst offenses in the Lions and should easily be a top-five defense this week. Opposing defenses that face the Lions score an average of 8.1 fantasy points per game (FPPG), but it wouldn’t be surprising if the Bears score double-digit fantasy points again this week.

Washington Football Team vs. SEA (30.2%)
Washington came into the season with the most hyped defensive unit, and they just have not performed. They recently lost Chase Young and the pass rush has suffered, totaling only one sack in two games. The other parts of the defense have stepped up in key situations and have held their opponents to low scoring the last three games. Seattle’s offense has looked very out-of-sorts since Russell Wilson has returned to the lineup, and it’s possible they figure it out this week against a team that is very overhyped this season, but Washington could be a solid streaming option. This is for sure a risky play, but if your options are limited, they could return some solid fantasy football value.
Philadelphia Eagles at NYG (23.5%)
The Philadelphia Eagles have come to life the past two weeks both offensively and defensively and have a prime divisional matchup against the Giants. Daniel Jones is coming off a rough night against a poor Buccaneers defense, throwing two picks. The Eagles pass rush has been lackluster the past three weeks, only sacking the opposing quarterback once, but they have been able to force turnovers and Jones is quite notorious for that. It is concerning that Saquon Barkley is back, but the Eagles have been solid against the run this season. Defenses facing the Giants score nearly 6.0 FPPG, which isn’t eye-opening, but with the way the Eagles have played the last two weeks, it is worth the risk.
