Any given Sunday in the NFL gives us a whole new set of fantasy football trends each week. We have organized some of the big trends here in order to help you answer some of the questions you may have about these trending fantasy football players for NFL Week 10.
Kenneth Walker appeared on the injury report with a chest injury, missing Wednesday’s practice. However, any concerns about his injury have been erased by fully participating in Thursday and Friday’s practices, receiving no injury designation for Sunday’s game against the Commanders.
For his matchup in Week 10 against the Commanders, I would have no worries about starting him, as the matchup against the struggling Commanders further boosts Walker’s appeal. Washington has allowed three consecutive games of 64 or more scrimmage yards and a touchdown to opposing running backs. Moreover, any worry about a potential split with Zach Charbonnet seems unwarranted, given that Walker has not only outpaced Charbonnet in carries but nearly doubled his workload in the past two weeks, accumulating 17 carries to Charbonnet’s 9.
As a result, Kenneth Walker fantasy football owners should feel confident about starting the RB in Week 10.

Tyler Boyd is set to see a significant role this week in light of injuries to key receivers in the Bengals lineup. With Tee Higgins ruled out due to a hamstring injury and Ja’Marr Chase listed as questionable with a back injury, Boyd steps into the WR2 position, a role he’s familiar with. In three complete games over the past two years where he replaced Higgins, Boyd has displayed reliability, averaging 5.3 receptions on seven targets for 62 receiving yards, 0.3 touchdowns, and 13.5 PPR fantasy points.
The Texans, on the other hand, have struggled to contain wide receivers in recent matchups. Over their last three games, they’ve allowed multiple WRs to score 8+ PPR fantasy points. Additionally, in two of their last three games, they’ve permitted two wide receivers from the same game to accumulate over 62 receiving yards. However, the Texans excel in preventing wide receivers from finding the end zone, allowing only two receiving touchdowns to the position this season, marking the second-lowest in the league, behind the Jets.
Given the Bengals’ current offensive momentum, and Boyd’s track record, Tyler Boyd fantasy football managers can trust him as a solid Flex this week. However, fantasy managers should weigh the matchup and consider alternatives if a player with a more favorable situation is available. Evan Engram has provided a rollercoaster experience for fantasy owners. He consistently has seen seven targets in every game since Week 2, accumulating over 40 receiving yards in all but one game this season. Engram has also secured at least 9.5 PPR points in all but one outing. Despite this, he’s eluded the most important stat of them all, touchdowns, not scoring one this season and in his last nine games.
The 49ers stand among the select few teams this season that have surrendered only one or zero touchdowns to the tight end position, with that lone touchdown occurring back in Week 1. While Engram’s chances of finding the end zone may have diminished, the upcoming matchup suggests he could still deliver a favorable fantasy performance.
The 49ers have recently faced two tight ends targeted seven or more times in their last five games. Both of whom managed to tally at least 53 receiving yards and 11 PPR fantasy points. Although a touchdown may not be guaranteed, Engram remains a solid starting option for Week 10.
