Fantasy Football Start or Sit: Week 6 QBs
Start: Joe Burrow at Lions
Team Name: Can I Burrow That?
Assuming he plays this week after spending time in the hospital with a throat injury, Joe Burrow is in a good spot this week. Through the first five weeks, Burrow has thrown at least two touchdowns in every game. The Lions are only allowing 17.1 fantasy points per game (fppg), which is in the top half of the league, but they are also giving up 9.3 yards per passing attempt and 27.6 real points per game. Look for Burrow to put up another solid day with his troika of talented wideouts this week. You can start him with confidence.
Start: Taylor Heinicke vs. Chiefs
Team Name: Watch Your Heinicke
Taylor Heinicke has been a QB1 in three of his four starts this season, but he is coming off a tough week against the Saints where he put up 248 passing yards, and another 40 rushing, with no TDs and two picks. This week is a great opportunity to rebound in a game with the highest Vegas total of the week, at 55.5 currently. The Chiefs are league-worst against opposing QBs, giving up 28.1 fppg on the year. The second-worst is the Football Team, who give up 27.8 fppg. This game has shootout written all over it, and Heinicke makes for a great fantasy football QB streamer this week.

Sit: Ryan Tannehill vs. Bills
Team Name: Tannehillbillies
Do you think Ryan Tannehill misses Arthur Smith? Last year’s QB7 Ryan Tannehill is QB20 through the first five weeks of the season and, after averaging 21.9 fppg last year, he has averaged only 17.2 fppg and has finished as a QB1 only once. Next up is a matchup with the Bills who are giving up only 10.8 fppg after holding Patrick Mahomes to his worst finish on the season. This does not look like the week for Tannehill to turn his season around, and you are better off finding another option with a better matchup this week.
Sit: Derek Carr at Broncos
Team Name: House of Carrs
After starting out the year with three straight QB1 performances and four straight games with multiple touchdowns, last week Derek Carr was featured here as a sit and he obliged, throwing for 206 yards, a season-low, with no touchdowns and one interception. This week is an even tougher matchup with the Broncos, who are giving up only 13.3 fppg to opposing QBs. In addition, Carr has historically struggled against the Broncos in 13 career meetings. He has only topped 20 fantasy points three times and averages 15.7 fppg with only 14 touchdowns. Carr is an option that is best kept in the garage for this week.
