Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 9 TEs
Start: Sam LaPorta Fantasy Outlook Vs. Green Bay Packers
A guy who a lot of people expected to be TE1 on the year makes his first appearance on that start side of the Week 9 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article. Sam LaPorta has been below expectations on the year to this point, ranking as TE17. Since the Week 5 bye, LaPorta has gone into double-digits in two of the three games he has played. Are we witnessing LaPorta’s resurgence?
On the flip side of the ball is the Green Bay Packers. The Packers have given up the eighth-most fantasy points to TEs this season, with four out of the last five TEs they have faced getting over 10 points as well. The Packers have not done a great job at containing the TEs this season and you have a hungry LaPorta looking to keep some momentum going. Start LaPorta in your lineups.

Start: Noah Fant Fantasy Outlook vs Los Angeles Rams
The former Denver Bronco makes his first appearance on the good side of the article. Noah Fant looks to make some noise with DK Metcalf still trying to heal from his MCL Sprain. Fant was unable to take advantage of Metcalf’s absence last week against the Buffalo Bills. This week though, he will have an easier defense to play against whether Metcalf plays or not.
The Los Angeles Rams have been bad against the TEs this season, giving up the third-most fantasy points. In their last three games, the Rams have given up an average of 18.4 fantasy points per game to TEs. Fant should be a good play for your lineups this week.

Sit: Dalton Kincaid Fantasy Outlook vs Miami Dolphins
The Buffalo Bills starting TE will be a sit against the Miami Dolphins this week. Despite a good game last week against the Seattle Seahawks, Dalton Kincaid is one to be wary of this week. The first time these two teams faced off, Kincaid went four catches for 33 yards. That is only 7.3 points, and that is not ideal. Alongside a new weapon since that game for the Bills, Kincaid isn’t as sexy this week.
The Dolphins were able to prevent points for Kincaid in the first matchup and, despite a monster game last week from Trey McBride, have given up the seventh-fewest points to TEs this season. Miami should be able to stop Kincaid again this time around.
Sit: Tucker Kraft Fantasy Outlook vs Detroit Lions
The Green Bay Packers TE should be a bench spot on your lineups this week. Tucker Kraft has been a rockstar in four of the last five weeks, scoring double-digits. This week, he will have a different beast to face off against, with the Packers hosting the Detroit Lions. The Lions have given up the second-fewest points to TEs so far this season. Tight ends are averaging seven points per game against this Dan Campbell-led defense. Only one TE has scored more than 10 points against the Lions in their seven games. Sit Kraft out in this one.
