Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 9 RBs
Start: Miles Sanders Fantasy Outlook vs. Texans
Miles Sanders is the RB19 on the season and is coming off his lowest volume game on the season, as he only had nine carries and was not targeted last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He still put up 13.8 fantasy points, as he had 78 yards and was extremely efficient with his touches. This week, he gets the premier matchup in the league against the Houston Texans who are allowing 31.5 fantasy points per game (fppg) to opposing RBs.
As long as he gets the volume (double-digit touches in every game aside from last week), look for Sanders to be an RB2 with RB1 upside this week.
Start: Raheem Mostert Fantasy Outlook vs. Bears
Last week, Raheem Mostert was listed as a start and he disappointed in a prime spot against the Detroit Lions. This week, he gets another crack at the NFC North with a matchup against the Chicago Bears, who are allowing 24.7 fppg to opposing RBs. With six teams on bye, including multiple top RB options, you can do a lot worse than a back who will get 15-plus touches in a plus matchup. Mostert makes for a solid RB2 play this week based on volume.

Sit: Darrell Henderson and Ronnie Rivers Fantasy Outlook vs. Buccaneers
For the second straight week, Darrell Henderson is in the sit portion of this article. He has another tough matchup, this time against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are allowing 17.4 fppg to opposing RBs; the sixth-lowest number in the league. It also looks like he may lose touches to undrafted free agent Ronnie Rivers who had 12 touches last week to Henderson’s six. As with Matthew Stafford in the QB Start ’em, Sit ’em article, the Los Angeles Rams RBs also belong on the bench this week.
Sit: Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire Fantasy Outlook vs. Titans
Prior to the Kansas City Chiefs Week 7 game, Isiah Pacheco was declared the starter. He had eight carries for 43 yards while Clyde Edwards-Helaire had six carries for 32 yards and a touchdown. Jerick McKinnon was also in the mix, with two carries for 12 yards and two catches for another 36 yards. While the Chiefs offense is one that you certainly want a piece of for fantasy purposes, it is hard to trust any of these backs on a weekly basis.
This week, with a matchup against the Tennessee Titans who are only giving up 16.8 fppg to opposing RBs, leave them on your bench even with a fifth of the league on bye.
