Tight ends continue to be one of the more difficult positions to figure out in fantasy football. This has led to many fantasy owners looking to fantasy TE streamers or Week 3 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em help at tight end.

Obviously, there are some players who are must-start every single week due to where you drafted them, such as TJ Hockenson, Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce. However, after the top couple of tiers at the tight end position, you may be playing the matchup more than the player himself. To help you through these tough decisions, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings and read on for our Week 4 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em analysis at TE.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 3 TEs

Start: Hunter Henry Fantasy Outlook at Jets

While it may seem obvious to start the TE2 in fantasy football through two weeks, that isn’t what is happening for Hunter Henry right now. That’s why he needs to be featured in this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article.

Despite playing great in both weeks, earning himself the fantasy TE2 honors, the Hunter Henry fantasy football ownership is only at 50% in ESPN fantasy leagues. That’s why he was featured as a fantasy football Week 3 TE streamer as well. Go get him if he’s unowned, please.

Start: Cole Kmet Fantasy Outlook at Chiefs

There isn’t much to like about the Chicago Bears right now. However, I think Cole Kmet fantasy football owners can feel alright about his value this week. First off, he plays the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only should the Bears need to throw the ball to keep up, but Kansas City has also surrendered solid fantasy performances to Sam LaPorta and Evan Engram this season.

Cole Kmet has seen a reliable workload through two weeks. He has 13 targets this season, suggesting he is a big part of the offense. Kmet was featured down the stretch of last season as well. On a week where Justin Fields needs to settle in and figure out his arm, relying on the big-bodied Kmet makes too much sense.

Sit: Pat Freiermuth Fantasy Outlook at Raiders

Last week, I featured Pat Freiermuth in this fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em series. He showed me nothing to be optimistic about, so he landed here again this week. While Freiermuth caught just one pass for two yards last week, others in the industry are still optimistic. I’m here to say that you should be hesitant to play a Steeler right now.

At TE15 in my fantasy rankings, currently, Pat Freiermuth is five spots lower than the consensus. I don’t hate the matchup or the player. I hate the role and the offense he is in.

Sit: Dalton Schultz Fantasy Outlook at Jaguars

One of the players owned more than Hunter Henry, who shouldn’t be, is Dalton Schultz. Simply, he isn’t being targeted in the Houston Texans offense. Catching just six passes for 38 yards this season, Schultz isn’t a player you have to hang onto, and he shouldn’t be a player in your starting lineup given the number of solid options available in most leagues.

Check my fantasy football rankings, since you may have a better option.
