Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 14 WRs
Start: Brandin Cooks Fantasy Outlook vs Eagles
We know CeeDee Lamb is a must-start in fantasy football any given Sunday. However, Brandin Cooks also is in “start” territory for the Week 14 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em.
The matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles is fantastic, as the Eagles surrender the most fantasy points to WRs in the league. Brandin Cooks’ recent play has certainly boosted his confidence as well. He has scored a touchdown in five of his past seven games, including three of the past four. Cooks has also totaled 40+ yards in five of his past six games. This could become a high-scoring divisional matchup in Dallas, so get Brandin Cooks in your fantasy football lineup.
Start: Courtland Sutton Fantasy Outlook at Chargers
Courtland Sutton is a fantasy football start once again this week. While some of you may think this is obvious given how well he has played, there is another large segment of fantasy owners that continue to be hesitant with the Denver Broncos’ top receiver.
Sutton is clearly the go-to scoring option through the air, scoring in six of his past seven games. He has put up 60+ receiving yards in three straight games as well. This week, Sutton faces a Chargers defense that surrenders the sixth-most fantasy points to WRs this season. If the Chargers can pull their heads out of their asses on offense as well, they should be able to put up some points, which would force the Broncos to be a bit more aggressive pushing the ball downfield to Courtland Sutton.

Sit: Nico Collins Fantasy Outlook at Jets
It’s becoming a theme in our Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em series to sit your wide receivers against the New York Jets. Despite the Miami Dolphins having plenty of success against them, the Jets are still by far the best defense against fantasy WRs this season, allowing just 24.3 fantasy points per game.
Yes, Nico Collins is coming off of an incredible game. And yes, Tank Dell getting injured solidifies Collins as the top receiving option on the team. However, he doesn’t have the mismatch abilities to beat this defense like Tyreek Hill. The Jets will likely take Nico Collins away, as they have done to many players this season.
Sit: Chris Godwin Fantasy Outlook at Falcons
If you are still starting Chris Godwin in fantasy football, that’s on you. Yes, he is a talented player and his name carries a great deal of weight. However, his role and performance are simply not there to be trusted in your starting lineup, if you can help it.
Don’t be fooled by last week’s touchdown. A rushing touchdown for Godwin is not a reliable play. That God for that play though, as Godwin didn’t do anything else in the game. He has been held under 50 yards in four of his past five games, and Chris Godwin has just one receiving touchdown all season.
