Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 14 WRs
Start: Christian Kirk Fantasy Outlook vs. Titans
After starting off the year looking like he was going to be one of the best WRs in fantasy, Christian Kirk hit a lull from Weeks 4-6. However, in four of his last six games, he has put up at least WR2 numbers with two top-five performances to boot. In the two games he didn’t hit, he put up 7.0 and 8.1 fantasy points which were WR57 and WR62. Look for this week to be another hit for Kirk, as the Tennessee Titans are giving up 34.9 fantasy points per game (fppg) to opposing WRs. Kirk makes for a solid WR2 play this week.
Start: DJ Moore Fantasy Outlook vs. Seahawks
With Baker Mayfield now in Los Angeles with the Rams, DJ Moore might be the happiest person in North Carolina. Last week, with Sam Darnold at the helm, Moore put up four catches for 103 yards and touchdown. This weekend, look for the good times to continue. Let’s not forget that prior to this year DJ Moore had three straight 1,100-yard seasons and looked like a breakout candidate to crack the top 12. He may be tough to trust, and I can’t blame you if you don’t, but he is a solid WR2 play this week.

Sit: JuJu Smith-Schuster Fantasy Outlook vs. Broncos
Prior to suffering a concussion in Week 10, it looked like JuJu Smith-Schuster was emerging as Patrick Mahomes’ second-favorite receiver, behind the incomparable Travis Kelce. However, since returning, Smith-Schuster has not had more than four targets, three receptions, and he has finished with 33, 38 and 35 yards. This week doesn’t look much better, as the Denver Broncos are the top defense in the league as far as limiting WR production, allowing only 21.1 fppg. Smith-Schuster and Mahomes may well get on the same page again soon, but not this week.
Sit: Brandon Aiyuk Fantasy Outlook vs. Buccaneers
Down to their third starting QB on the season in Brock Purdy, the San Francisco 49ers are likely to go into their most conservative shell yet and lean into the running game to make things easier for him. This lowers the floor and ceiling for all 49ers receiving options, and Brandon Aiyuk who has finished as a WR2 or better just once in the last four games is a desperation start this week. With six teams on bye, you might be in a tough spot but if you go with Aiyuk the results will almost assuredly not be Purdy.
