For many, the last week of the fantasy football regular season is here, and you are already thinking about that fantasy football championship belt. You’ve come to the right spot for help setting the best possible lineup, if you are still jockeying for a first-round bye or spot in the postseason. If you have Austin Ekeler, Josh Jacobs or Christian McCaffrey, you know what to do. If you don’t and have to make a tough choice, this is the place to be for those tough Week 14 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em decisions at RB2.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 14 RBs

Start: Ezekiel Elliott Fantasy Outlook vs. Texans

Despite being eclipsed in the Dallas Cowboys backfield by the younger and much more explosive Tony Pollard, Ezekiel Elliott has put up RB1 numbers in each of the last five weeks. He has finished RB9, RB8, RB7, RB10 and RB8 over that stretch in each game he has played. This week, in the battle for Lone Star State’s supremacy, look for Elliott to continue this run against the Texans’ league-worst defense against fantasy RBs, giving up 26.7 fantasy points per game (fppg) against the position. You know Pollard is a must-start, but Ezekiel Elliott is as well this week.

Start: D’Onta Foreman Fantasy Outlook vs. Seahawks

Heading into the Carolina Panthers’ bye last week, D’Onta Foreman was on a rollercoaster stretch where he alternated quality starts with absolute basement-level production. Going back to Week 8, he was the RB5, which he followed up with an RB45 performance, then RB7, RB43 and RB21. Starting him may not give you warm fuzzies, but with six teams on bye, including multiple RB options, you may not have much choice. The matchup this week is positive, as the Seattle Seahawks allow 25.1 fppg to opposing RBs, so he makes for a decent RB2 if you are in a pinch.

Sit: Devin Singletary Fantasy Outlook vs. Jets

Devin Singletary was a recommended sit last week, but he managed into the end zone to salvage his game and finish as RB24. He only had 13 carries for 51 yards and no receptions on two targets while James Cook had 14 carries for 64 yards and tacked on six receptions for 41 yards as well. Despite being a solid start for most of the season, Singletary ranks 22nd at RB through 13 weeks. It looks like he is no longer a trustworthy RB2. Bench him this week as this timeshare will make him at a flex start at best.

Sit: Cam Akers Fantasy Outlook vs. Raiders

Long after even the most ardent Cam Akers truthers had dropped him from their rosters, he finally had the game that people were expecting as the Rams’ lead back heading into the season. It just took until Week 13 for it to click. You may be desperate or in an absolute pinch this week with six teams on bye, but starting Akers in this lost season for the Los Angeles Rams is not what you want to do with your playoffs on the line. If he does it again on Thursday night, then he becomes a consideration, but he is more likely to be fools gold this week.
