We have seen the running back position really suffer this season, due to injuries and backfield committees. Week 13 of the fantasy football season is no exception since we have more injuries as well as six teams on bye. As a result, you may have many questions surrounding your starting fantasy football lineups. That is where we come in, helping you with this Week 13 RB Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em analysis.

Obviously, there are some players who are must-start every single week, such as Christian McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler and Travis Etienne. However, the RB2 and Flex positions are a bit more fluid, causing some tough decisions to be made. To help you through these tough decisions, check out our weekly fantasy football rankings and read on for our Week 13 fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em analysis at RB.

Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em: Week 13 RBs

Start: Zack Moss Fantasy Outlook at Titans

While the matchup isn’t the greatest, the increased opportunity for Zack Moss is enough to label him as a “start” in this week’s Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em. Jonathan Taylor is going to have thumb surgery, knocking him out of the lineup for a while. Obviously, we remember how well Moss played as the lead back earlier this season.

Moss saw over 75% of the snaps in four games. Across those games, he ran for 445 yards and three touchdowns while adding another eight receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. Again, the matchup isn’t great, but Moss is a must-start until Taylor returns.

Start: Jaylen Warren Fantasy Outlook vs Cardinals

The Pittsburgh Steelers changed the locks on Matt Canada, and they made much-needed adjustments to the offense. One of the reports was the emphasis on getting Jaylen Warren more involved. The result was a near 50/50 split with Najee Harris in both touches and snaps, making Warren a must-start player for the rest of the season.

Last week, Jaylen Warren wasn’t too efficient, running for 49 yards on 13 carries while also catching three passes for 13 yards. This week, he faces an Arizona Cardinals team that allows the second-most fantasy points to RBs. Given the increased workload and the matchup, you can trust Warren in your starting lineup, and you can start Najee Harris as well.

Sit: Chuba Hubbard Fantasy Outlook at Buccaneers

There has been a coaching change in Carolina, so we don’t fully know what to expect from this Panthers offense. However, we do know what to expect from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense. The Bucs surrender the sixth-fewest fantasy points to RBs. It is looking like a better matchup for the receivers.

Because of this, Chuba Hubbard lands in the “sit” section of our Week 13 Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em. Hubbard is also splitting snaps with Miles Sanders, so his overall upside is severely limited in this matchup.

Sit: Dameon Pierce Fantasy Outlook vs Broncos

Dameon Pierce made his lackluster return to the Houston Texans’ lineup last week. He ended up playing only 11 of a possible 60 offensive snaps, which led to six touches for 18 yards. This week, Pierce has a tempting matchup with the Denver Broncos who surrender the most fantasy points to RBs. While the matchup is undoubtedly great, Pierce isn’t seeing enough snaps to be trusted as an RB2 for your fantasy football team.

Check my fantasy football rankings, since you may have a better option, such as the two “starts” in this Fantasy Football Start ’em, Sit ’em article.
